We live in Qingdao and teach English to medical students at Qingdao University. In July of 2012 we will finish our second year with the BYU China Teachers Program.

This is our kitchen sink. On the right is the washing machine. The hose in the lower left corner of the picture goes out the kitchen door, through the hall to the bathroom where there is a drain in the floor; all very efficient.

One of the other teachers got this hat for Dale when they were on tour in Western China. He loves it.
You can get KFC delivered. Qingdao also has, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Walmart, Papa Johns and Hagan Daz.
This is inside a high rise shopping mall.
She is being a mother and a shopkeeper.
By the end of the day the his load of recyclable cardboard will be 6 feet wide and 8 feet high.
She is selling sweet potatoes that she has cooked on coals in the barrel.

You really don't see many buildings like this. I thought there would be more.
